WHY HAVE EQUIPPING CLASSES?
Jesus called us to love God with all of our hearts, souls, minds, and strength (Matt 22:37-38), meaning to love God will all of us. As a church family, we want to grow in our understanding of what it means to be a disciple, living up in relationship with God, in relationship with God's people, and out in relationship with the people God has put us around.
Equipping classes are an opportunity for you to deepen your love for God,
knowledge of the Bible, and take steps to practice what you're learning.
WHAT’s my next step?
If you haven't taken it yet, Foundations is your first step. Foundations is a six week class that we offer multiple times a year walking through the six marks of a disciple. Through this class you'll be able to understand what it means to be a disciple of Jesus at Doxa, you'll build relationships with others in this church family, and you'll get practice taking the next step God's calling you to.

From there we've got different classes building off of these six marks that we'll regularly offer. Some are based around a specific area of discipleship, like finances or ethics. Others are designed to give you a deeper understanding of theology and the Bible. Be on the lookout for these classes as they regularly come up.
